List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
Johnny Cash--Wayfaring Stranger
Seanan McGuire--I Am [Doppelganger Song]
Bilge Pumps--Donkey Riding
Wine, Woman, & Song--I Come For To Sing
Schooner Fare--Big House, Middle House, Back House, Barn
Blackmore's Night--Under A Violet Moon
Bobby Day--Little Bitty Pretty One
That's a reasonable range. I won't tag anyone, but would be thrilled to read what folks come up with; it'll give me something to look forward to, when I'm slogging through more than a week's worth of posts after Confluence this weekend. We're driving up Thursday, until which time I'll be busy with preparations and getting as caught up here as may be.

Date: 2006-07-26 03:05 pm (UTC)That's a good one. A couple months ago, I bought myself a gadget for easily hooking up the stereo to the computer so I could do something about transferring music from vinyl to CD. My Schooner Fare albums were the first ones that I did. Unfortunately, the results weren't as good as I'd hoped, so I'm going to have to redo it all at some point.

Date: 2006-07-26 04:26 pm (UTC)My seven songs right now
Date: 2006-07-27 01:21 am (UTC)In no particular order:
"Train in Vain" by the Clash
"I Want Your Socks" by The Ice Man (parody of "I Want Your Sex" from 1986)
"Call Me, Beep Me" by Christina Milian (The "Kim Possible" theme)
"Moose in My House" by Scott Laningham
"Ridin'" by Chamillionaire with Krazie Bone (Yes, I like some rap. Sue me.)
"Beverly Hills" by Weezer
and "Liposuction" by Da Vinci's Notebook
This will be added to my journal and I will request others to post their own seven. Bet you won't come up with anything as weird as me... (hee, hee!)
