As Jerrie said: drop off at a thrift store. On one of my purges of the boxes of TB-nevergettoitR, I hauled lots to the Goodwill at Northlake. Most thrift stores now have a drivethrough and will do the unloading for you, so I only hauled 'em once.
I do itemized deductions on my income taxes, and found that a few big donations like that can add up to some savings.
