This is oddly accurate in a disturbing number of ways. Now, if I only could've gone to high school with *these* people, it would've been a much cooler place. :)
Well, Goths were before my time; I was a loner hippie kid in high school. BUT, if Goth culture had been around then, I'd for sure have been the loner Goth kid (g)!
One of my beloved nieces, the one who just came back from Australia - and returned to the coolest job; she is a veterinary nurse at the zoo! -, was a total Goth when she was 14. Her mother despaired at the time. I said, *Give* her a break! She looks adorable in her white makeup and black clothes. She's brilliant and funny; just let her grow." It's nice to be right (smirk); she ended up with a degree in biology/wildlife management and her husband was getting his M.A. in Australia in marine biology (now he's doing research again at ASU under one of the profs - very few marine animals in Arizona (g)) See how easy it is to get me to digress? :)
But think how entertaining for us when you do! Now I'm picturing you in a Marlene Dietrich-style tux & tophat--so much more becoming than "traditional" goth attire, don't you think? [weg]

This sounds like a MUCH better class of high school than the one I went to too. Trollypup as Principal? Yea buddy! Always a good hair day.
