Well, that was "right and proper."

I just finished reading lots of tributes to John M. Ford while listening to music by Leigh Ann Hussey, another sorely-missed vibrant talent.

This has been one rotten year. We have too many friends and admirees to remember on All Hallows Eve.

a non sequitur

Okay. I *am* getting your LJ. You just haven't posted in a long time.

It may be relative, but it doesn't have to be *distant.*

And you have plenty of exotic adventures. I have yet to read about your Wanderings through WorldCon...

Well, I guess we'll find out if I like it at Denver. Because I'm already starting to save my pennies for it.

All I was waiting for was a Worldcon with Lois as GOH (and the resultant MaxiLoisCon), in a place where I'd want to be even if there wasn't a Worldcon going on, with Yellowstone along the way...

See, I didn't want much, really!

Yup. I figure the three or four days it will take me to drive there will have me in a mood to be social for a few days, then by the time I'm all socialized out, it'll be time to hit the road, and then I'll have Yellowstone to decompress at [g]. Seems like the ideal situation to *me*...

Might also plan a side trip to a very happily remembered Denver Museum of Natural History, too (one of the best museums I'd ever been to at the time -- although that was thirty years ago). I might go see my old house, too. And maybe half a dozen other things -- might have to plan an extra day either before or after the con.

I haven't been to Denver in almost 20 years.

Anyway, Denver is a Very Cool Place.

Remind to share some stories of Mike and TDeitz at a Phoenixcon, complete with pics. :)
