I'm so sorry to hear that you had surgery - I checked your earlier posts, and am relieved that at least I didn't miss something I was supposed to be praying about! Sending prayers for healing now...
May the recovery be quick, both to the cut-upon part and to the wobbly brains for anesthesia and pain meds...
It's an interesting story, about how I got upstaged by my mom, 'cause moms are like that. ;)
More anon, when I've slept off the latest round of too-good drugs. If I'd looked this endocet up & found out it had acetaminophen anyway, I would've just made do with that. Dizzying is for looking deeply into one's spouse's eyes, not one's computer screen, however welcoming the friendly postings.
Quite well, actually; thanks for asking. I'll type more when I'm more alert. Stories deserve to be told properly, after all. That, and the microwave's dinging. As any good hobbit-type could tell you, it's all about the breakfast [and the elevenses, and the lunch, and...]. :)
The rest of your friends seem to have done all the good witty comments. I'm glad you've survived, and I hope for more than that. I hope they fixed whatever had gone wrong.
Yeah, but none of their wit is in a deep voice in a French accent in a bistro near Balticon. Good times. ;)
Is there any way you can make it to Fencon [http://www.fencon.org/]? Heather'll be there [she tantalized], as well as lots of listies, including me [assuming I survive the exponential insanity of doing WorldCon immediately before DragonCon].
Sorry, FenCon is too close to the (shudder) end of the fiscal year. I hope someone asks Heather just what "Shattered Glass" is about; that's something I neglected to bring up at BaltiCon.
Speaking of BaltiCon, that Chinese place may perhaps qualify as a bistro (it was pretty quick, anyway, and the Russian word veestra is the origin of "bistro"), and my voice may be deep, mais est-ce que j'ai un accent francais? Bien sur que non!

It's been a while; do you want to be called this week? If so, when is a good time?
