I got the "your C-Reactive Protein is too high" in January, and started on the baby aspirin and omega-3 oil (I use the flaxseed, can't take the fishy aftertaste of the cod liver oil). And as the cholesterol was too high, and there's a family history of heart disease, he put me on a statin as well. So now my bad cholesterol is incredibly low, 'cause in addition to all the drugs and supplements, I've lost weight and improved my diet. I just wish he'd tested the CRP again to see how it reacted...
