Happy New Year!

We went for a walk this afternoon.  It was breezy, but gorgeous.  A couple of narcissus flowers are blooming, and jonquil grass is starting to poke out.  The forsythia bush by our house looks like a pile of sticks, with yellow stars on top.  What's up with these crazy flowers?

Here in NH we're still waiting for the first significant snow of the winter. The weather report gives a 20% chance of its happening on Thursday, if it isn't just rain.

Be sure to bundle up when you're out and about; humidity can make the cold feel even colder.
