A few years later, the Kidney Foundation called me for a donation, so I got several boxes of books outside, ready for pickup. When they called the night before to confirm, and realized that I am in a multifamily dwelling, they said they weren't allowed to come.I am on the ground floor, no doors or stairs, and they would not.

I know there are people who could use the books, but I don't know how to connect with them. Have heard of prison donations, but not around here.
